Pacific Grove is located on the Central California coast, on the tip of the
Monterey Peninsula, 125 miles south of San Francisco, and 334 miles north of
Los Angeles, and 23 miles west of the county seat, Salinas. It is bounded on
the north by Monterey Bay, on the east by Monterey, on the south by Pebble Beach, and on the west by the Pacific Ocean. Approximate population for Pacific Grove is 17,145.
