Westlake Village, CaliforniaWestlake Village is located in Los Angeles County, California. It has a population of over 7500 residents including over 3,000 families. The city covers over 13 square kilometers of land and over 1 square kilometer of water. It is located 38 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. It crosses the boarder of two counties, the northwestern portion of Los Angeles County and the southeastern portion of Ventura County. It is only a three-hour drive north of Mexico. The summers here are warm and dry while the winters are moderately cool. The air here is much cleaner than other areas due to the Santa Monica Mountains, which provide a natural barrier.
