Weston, Florida
Weston is located in Broward County near Fort Lauderdale. It has a population of almost 50,000 residents.

The original Weston core was a multi-use real estate development of the Arvida Corporation, and when the grand opening took place in the late 70s, the company was a subsidiary of the Disney Corporation. We remember meeting Mickey and Goofy at the gala event. Recently, the residents voted to incorporate as the City of Weston, and shortly afterwards, neighboring communities to the north (Bonaventure) and south were invited to join in the city.
