Bend, Oregon is located high in the beautiful high desert mountains of central Oregon. Bend is famous for outdoor activities and attractions such as skiing, fishing, boating, biking, golfing, hiking, sightseeing and camping in their beautiful and scenic national forests, snowmobiling, as well as fishing in nearby lakes. Even cave exploring at the lava tubes at Skeleton Cave, Arnold Ice Caves or Lava River Caves can be enjoyed here. Bend is Central Oregons largest city with a population of over 52,000 people. It is located against the banks of the beautiful Deschutes River and is the county seat of Deschutes County. Bend is able to retain its small town charm yet has all of the conveniences of a larger metropolitan area.
